Software Engineer - Shared Applications
Alation continues to hire for roles at various locations with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19 crisis. Everyone new to the Alation team, along with our current workforce, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.
Requirements -
- Have a CS degree and at least 2 years experience working as a software engineer
- Have experience with one or more technologies: Python, Java, Postgres, Kafka, Redis is a plus!
- Having basic knowledge of IAM systems, access control, LDAP, SAML, or OAuth2 is a plus!
- Enjoy problem solving and measure your success through impact
- Are highly collaborative and enjoy working with others
Here’s some examples of what you will be doing...
- Building frameworks and services to manage access across the catalog for any object and object hierarchies at terabyte scale
- Building framework and services to dynamically plugin new Catalog object behavior in our Data Catalog
- Scale our platform to the highest levels of real-time performance and security
