JOB DUTIES:
Required skills :
An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a Design and Development of the mechanical components for automobile and heavy machinery equipment’s.
Specialization in Operator arraignment configuration, Integration for off highway vehicles cabs.
Good understanding of sub systems like HVAC, Seating system, Wiper systems, Non Metallic components etc (Cab Interiors)..
Strong Knowledge in defining technical spec Cab and Structural components.
Should have good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD &T)
Strong knowledge in Concepts design generating for mechanical systems – Structures ROPS/FOPS & Non Metallics
Proficient in Pro/E - Creo. - Solid Modeling, Sheet Metal, Advanced assembly.
Proficient in FEA using Creo Simulation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
Must be experienced in MS Office applications and have strong Excel skills.
Engineers may work in any number of functional areas requiring an engineering degree, including, but not limited to, product design, development, research, metallurgy, quality, reliability, materials, manufacturing process, application and installation, product performance/support, service, and facilities.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering, plus minimum 8 years experience Also requires excellent analytical skills. Incumbents have exhibited ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments, either through on-the-job assignments or through pursuit of the advanced degree. Experience working with a different unit or working with different products, processes, or systems is desirable. Must have ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well employees in other units, customers, and suppliers.
